Future World at Epcot features several pavilions that offer a good opportunity to beat the heat or possibly rain on your Walt Disney World vacation. The Imagination Pavilion offers a slow-moving attraction “Journey Into Imagination with Figment.”Additionally, there is a character meet, play area (Image Works) and retail store. Of the three pavilions in this area (The Land and ) the Imagination pavilion probably offers the best place for children to burn off some steam for a little while. The fountains below are known as Leaping Frog fountains. They are on the backside of the upside-down fountain and you can walk in between them.

Journey Into Imagination With Figment is the current incarnation of Journey Into Imagination that was introduced as a result of the public outcry against Journey Into Your Imagination, opening on June 2, 2002. Cereal soup the game. Due to popular demand, Figment returned with a larger role, appearing in every show.

You will also encounter them when you exit the Imagination Pavilion. They are a lot of fun to watch and run underneath.

The water leaps from one fountain to the next in a little routine.If you look close you can kind of see where I caught the jumping water below in mid-air. I spend a good amount of time up here. Additionally, there are a few benches around and it’s a nice place to take a break. I doubt you will find much of a crowd in this area. In conclusion, the Imagination Pavilion is a great way to slow down your day when you need a break.

If it’s raining you can easily spend an hour doing the ride, play area, character meet and browsing a little merchandise. It’s also a straight shot over to the Pixar Film Festival where you can kill another 20 minutes or so watching cartoons in an air-conditioned theater.The other perk of this location is that it’s next to The Land and which also offer similar layouts and a variety of interior things to do. Epcot is my favorite park for a rainy or super hot day because of all the interior attractions.

Ready to stay up later with Figment? The Disney website is reflecting hours changes for one of our beloved Epcot attractions. The Figment attraction hours have been extended into the evening, and with the Festival of the Arts happening at this same time, we’re glad for the extra dose of Imagination starting January 12, 2020. Figment Attraction Hours ExtendedStarting January 12th and running through February 29th, 2020, all attractions within the Imagination Pavilion will be open from park open to park close. Typically these attractions close at 7:00 PM, with the exception of evening Extra Magic Hours or peak crowds. Epcot often closes at 9:00 pm, with Journey Into Imagination closing routinely at 7 pm. This Inside the Magic Editor was totally stumped when she arrived to ride with her kids many, many years ago (as a Parks newbie) at 7:10 pm without checking the hours! For the time being, that’s no longer an issue.
